Choose the right surgeon for your cataract operation

Cataract surgery is one of the most common operations in Denmark, but experience, equipment and follow-up make a difference. Here is what you can expect from us.

Experience

Peter Jeppesen is a specialist in ophthalmology with more than 20 years of experience, over 20,000 cataract operations and around 4,000 eyelid operations. He has been a consultant at the Department of Ophthalmology, Aarhus University Hospital, holds a PhD in the physiology of the eye, and has served as president of the Scandinavian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Equipment and lenses

We operate with a Zeiss surgical microscope and Alcon ultrasound equipment in the clinic’s newly fitted operating theatre. We use only high-quality lenses from Johnson & Johnson: TECNIS, TECNIS PureSee and TECNIS Odyssey.

Information and follow-up

You receive a thorough pre-operative examination, where we go through the procedure and your options, and you are followed up by the same ophthalmologist after the operation.

Easy to get to

The clinic is on Banegaardspladsen in the centre of Aarhus, close to trains, buses and the light rail, and is easy to reach by both public and private transport.
